Hossam ElDein Mostafa
Hossam El Din Mostafa, one of the most famous Egyptian film directors, was born in Port Said. With the early 50s, he aspired to travel to the United States to study film directing, and was fortunate when he stood as an executive director for international director Cecil Demel in the movie The Ten Commandments in 1956. He directed 100 films from 1956 to 1994. He's best known for The Bullet Is Still in My Pocket, The Black Glasses, The Enemy Brothers and The Kings of Evil. He also directed TV series including The Knights, Imam Abu Hanifa al-Numan, Heroes and Eagle of the East. He passed away in 2000 at the age of 74, leaving a rich account of important films and purposeful dramas.
